Youth Empowerment Programs
Roman Foundation operates programs designed to support young adults, particularly those transitioning from foster care, in building the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed for successful independence. Our activities focus on three core areas:

  1. Life Skills Development – Workshops and one-on-one mentoring sessions that teach financial literacy, job readiness, interview preparation, conflict resolution, and daily living skills necessary for independence.

  2. Educational Support – Assistance with high school completion, GED preparation, tutoring, and guidance in pursuing higher education or vocational training. We also help youth connect to scholarships, grants, and career pathways that align with their goals.

  3. Mentorship and Community Engagement – Pairing youth with trained mentors who provide consistent guidance, encouragement, and accountability. The Foundation organizes community service projects and enrichment activities that build self-confidence, resilience, and positive social connections.

Charitable Purpose
These activities directly further the exempt purposes of the Roman Foundation by lessening the burdens of government (supporting youth aging out of foster care), advancing education, and combating juvenile delinquency by equipping young people with the skills to make positive life choices.

Funding Sources
Roman Foundation’s activities are supported primarily through:

  • Individual donations from community members,

  • Grants from private foundations and corporate sponsors, and

  • Fundraising events organized to engage the public and raise awareness.

The organization will diversify its revenue to ensure broad public support, demonstrating accountability to the community it serves. All funds raised are used exclusively to operate the programs outlined above and to further the charitable purposes of the organization.
