Adam Barrios, Founder of Roman Foundation
Adam Barrios is the Founder of Roman Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young men in foster care as they work toward achieving their life goals. With over 11 years of experience mentoring youth from diverse backgrounds, Adam has guided countless young people in making positive choices that foster personal growth and build the foundation for successful adulthood. Many of the young adults he has mentored have gone on to pursue higher education or develop the employment skills necessary for independence.
Adam’s passion lies in building meaningful, supportive relationships that help youth navigate the unique challenges they face. His commitment to their success led him to pursue a degree in Behavioral Health Science with an emphasis in Adolescent Disorders at Grand Canyon University. This academic foundation, combined with his extensive hands-on experience, has given him a deep understanding of the complex needs of foster youth.
Through his leadership at Roman Foundation, Adam brings together clinical knowledge, compassion, and lived experience to create opportunities for youth to thrive. He believes firmly that with consistent support and access to resources, young people can overcome obstacles and achieve what once seemed impossible
